Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Small Business Enterprise

How we Accomplish This...

  • The KCHA actively and routinely seeks out qualified minority-owned, women-owned business enterprises, and other small/disadvantaged businesses that can provide competitive and high-quality services for the KCHA.
  • We encourage participation and support of  subcontractor and supplier diversity by prime contractors to KCHA.
  • Seek out opportunities to assist in the development and competitiveness of the targeted businesses through instruction, mentoring, and other outreach activities.

  • The KCHA has set Participation Goals for doing business with MWSBE:

  1. 10% of all contract dollars awarded to WBE

  2. 10% of all contract dollars awarded to MBE
